‘ *Power to the voice is Power to the people’*
We are thrilled to share the success of our recent Intra School Debate Competition, held on 1st October 2024,at Omkar International School (ICSE)
The event brought together bright minds of our school engaging them into a thought-provoking discussions on the topics, *’Books provide better entertainment than mobile phones’* and ‘ *Artificial Intelligence will over power human intelligence in the next century’* for the first round.
The best two houses that cleared the first round were qualified for the second round and argued for the motion and against the motion on the topic
*’Is the impact of social media on the mental health over- stated’.*
The best speaker for the motion was *Mst. Shivprasad Das* and against the motion was **Mst. Ruhan Badani* .
The competition was intense, with participants presenting well-researched arguments and counterarguments, showcasing their critical thinking and public speaking skills. The debate encouraged a healthy exchange of ideas, fostering a spirit of intellectual engagement among the participants.
