“Power to the voice is Power to the People”
To hone the Public speaking skills and build critical thinking, leadership, and team-building skills of our students, Omkar International School organized an Intra
School Debate Competition. The competition was held in two rounds. The first round was conducted on 20th October 2023 where the participants were given the topic `Books Smarts are better than Street Smart’ and `Is it good to be bilingual’. The best two houses, Green and Blue who cleared the first round were qualified for the second round on 27th October 2023. The respective houses argued for the motion and against the motion on the topic `We should replace paper documents with electronic version’. The best speaker for the motion was Sujaan Badani, student of grade IXA and Daksh Gada, from XD. The debaters put forward their views confidently. It was an enthralling learning experience and a truly memorable one.
